Fine boring tools with radial adjustment

This tooling system which has shown its efficiency for many years, is characterised by an utmost flexibility when it comes to machining bores of frequently varying diameters. Due to the wide range of adjustment combined with a dependable clamping of the insert intermediate diameters in the standard tool holder can be realised without problems. Adjustment is also made in a clamped condition. The precision-ground inserts in the highly exact insert pocket are pushed by means of the adjustment screw and thus the defined applicational diameter is adjusted µm-accurately. The axial position of the inserts remains unchanged.
